IRVINE, Calif. (October 20, 2015) – Irvine resident Denise Dunlap-Alpert, Vice President of Global Human Resources and Internal Communications for Blizzard Entertainment, Inc., has joined the Girl Scouts of Orange County Board of Directors. In this role, Dunlap-Alpert will join existing board members in governing Girl Scouts of Orange County through functions that include strategic planning, policy development, and fiduciary oversight.
In joining Girl Scouts of Orange County’s Board of Directors, Dunlap-Alpert looks forward to inspiring and supporting girls in developing the courage, confidence, and character to achieve their dreams.
Dunlap-Alpert’s role at Blizzard Entertainment encompasses recruitment, training, organizational development, policy development, employee communications, compensation and benefits administration, among other areas. She arrived at Blizzard in 2005 following success in positions at Sierra Entertainment and then at Vivendi Universal Games.

Dunlap-Alpert holds a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from the University of Washington and an Executive MBA from the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine.
