Girl Scout University is an online resource from Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) that provides leadership and professional enrichment to empower volunteers in the Girl Scout movement.

Girl Scouting 101: This training covers Girl Scout history, philosophy, mission, and volunteerism in approximately 35 minutes.  All new volunteers are required to view this training as the first step in the orientation process.

Check out some additional GSUSA’s Courses:

Training Videos & Training Twenties

Training Videos: Do you need a training refresher? Are you looking for a quick training guide? This is the place for you to watch short, focused learning videos that are designed to meet specific learning outcomes within 3-5 minutes.

Here are our current Training Videos:

Training Twenties: Service Units are encouraged to cultivate a community of courageous leaders. With the Training Twenties, we offer 20-minute presentations that Service Units are able to share with their troops through simple and fun information. Our hope is that Girl Scout volunteers are able to gain a sense of understanding for specific topics.

Girl Scout Series & Events Training

Volunteers working on Series & Events programing are required to watch this online training provided by GSUSA.

GSUSA does not record or send confirmation emails, you MUST screenshot the last page and send it into Training@GirlScoutsOC.com for official credit of completion.

Tracking Your Progress: Training Records

Training records are available should you need to review which trainings you have completed.

Training Records are updated on the Volunteer Network each month.

The Volunteer Network requires a username and password that you should receive from training or your Service Unit.

The Volunteer Development Department updates the Training Records monthly. You can access your training records by using the password received by your Service Unit.

Best practice is to save your “Training Completion Email” after you have completed each training for quick and simple reference to your own training records. We highly encourage keeping a manual record of the trainings you complete with the date and your trainer name.
