Business Leaders, Influencers, and Educators Rally Around Female Leadership at Girl Scouts’ Voice for Girls 2018

Thank you to all who joined us at our seventh annual Voice for Girls forum on May 11. Presented by BNY Mellon Wealth Management, it was an incredibly inspirational morning, fueled by the enthusiastic participation of 240 attendees – a record in the history of Voice for Girls! A special thanks to the educators and representatives from the Orange County Department of Education who joined us at this year’s event. Together, we put girls’ leadership front and center.

About our Keynote

Gina L. Osborn began her law enforcement career in 1986 by enlisting in the U.S. Army as a Counterintelligence Special Agent.  She served six years during the Cold War working the highest profile espionage cases in the European Theater. In 1996, Ms. Osborn became a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.  She has had numerous assignments over the last 22 years that include investigating Asian Organized Crime on a task force in the Little Saigon District of Orange County, supervising counterterrorism investigations in Southeast Asia, and leading teams in the review and assessment of investigative programs in field offices and FBI Headquarters as an Inspection Division Team Leader.  Ms. Osborn is currently the Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Cyber and Computer Forensics Programs in Los Angeles.  She oversees investigations relating to national security and criminal computer intrusions and has provided foundational leadership in the creation of the Orange County Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory.

The Voice for Girls Forum is an interactive think tank for Orange County’s decision-makers and key influencers, hosted by Girl Scouts of Orange County, to align local leaders around a vital mission—to support and champion girls in reaching their full potential as leaders in society.
